The Branding Bay Team were on the Dunbia stand at the Balmoral Show to demonstrate the new Dunbia Farmers responsive site.
Dunbia launched the bespoke Farmers site at this year’s Balmoral Show which allows all Dunbia’s Farmers to instantly access the weights and grades of their animals at the touch of a button on any mobile device.
This latest development follows on from the Dunbia Farmers website that was established three years ago where suppliers/ farmers can log in to access information such as weights and grades, as well as download advice on topics such as nutrition and welfare, and sign up for events and study tours.
Padraig Browne, Dunbia Group Procurement Director said: “we are excited about this latest development as a means of communicating effectively with our suppliers and meeting their needs in a simpler, more efficient way. The app has been designed to be user friendly and adaptable; phase one will allow suppliers to view their weights and grades at the touch of a button as we know this is information that is important to them.”
He continued: “Our Dunbia (Ireland) ambassador Rory Best was at the show to formally launch the farmers app, and we welcome existing and new suppliers to visit us on our stand (B40) to meet with the procurement team and learn more about the benefits of supplying Dunbia and becoming involved in the Dunbia Supplier Group.”
